What if we came together?
What might become possible if the conversations we share online could continue around a table, along a path, or beside the ocean?
In October 2027, we are inviting Dreamers, Doers, Designers and Doubters to the Azores for our first physical 4D Gathering — a chance to meet, connect and explore the challenges and opportunities of our time.
Our theme is From Metacrisis to Meta-Opportunities. We want to go beyond understanding the interconnected crises we face, and ask what we can imagine, design and do together.
A different kind of gathering
Not another conference
We are not imagining a stage on one side and an audience on the other. We are imagining a gathering where everyone brings something: a question, an experience, a different way of seeing.
Our aspiration is to make space for meaningful conversations and shared experiences — for walks and meals, friendship and co-creation. Time to listen as well as speak. Time for ideas to unfold without rushing towards an answer.
This is an intention, not a fixed programme. The shape of the gathering will emerge through the people who help create it.
A place to pause
Why the Azores?
There is something about being surrounded by nature that makes room for a different kind of conversation. The islands of the Azores, with their green landscapes, volcanic contours and open Atlantic horizons, offer that possibility.
We hope this setting will invite us to step away from familiar rhythms, reflect on what matters, and connect more deeply with one another and the world we share.
Curiosity is the starting point
Who is it for?
Dreamers, Doers, Designers and Doubters. People who imagine possibilities, bring ideas to life, open new perspectives, or ask the questions we need to hear.
You do not need to have the answers, and you do not need to be part of the 4D Community already. If you bring an open mind, curiosity and a willingness to explore together, this invitation is for you.

Join us in shaping the gathering
Would you like to be part of this? We would love to hear what draws you to the gathering, the questions you would bring, and any ideas you would like to contribute.
For now, we are gathering interest and ideas — not taking registrations or payments. A detailed programme has not yet been set.
Dreamers. Doers. Designers. Doubters.
